Earlene Baggett-Hayes, an attorney for more than 30 years, has attained experience in her legal practice and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the employment/ labor, business, commercial, domestic, municipal and education arenas. Currently, she is involved primarily as an ADR service provider, a neutral, and a trainer. Earlene has conducted mediations and arbitrations in numerous venues around the country.
Earlene’s educational training in ADR includes the Strauss Institute for Conflict Resolution at Pepperdine School of Law, the International Academy of Mediators, American Arbitration Association, Financial Industry RegulatoryAgency, Supreme Court Administrative Office, Federal Mediation and Conciliation Association, various Community Dispute Resolution Centers and Cooley Law School.
Earlene has developed and facilitated over 25 training programs on various ADR topics. She has also published several articles and hosted a cable television related to ADR, entitled “We Can Work It Out.”
Earlene has been recognized for her work. Among her awards are the 2018 State Bar of Michigan Distinguished Service in ADR Award, Sojourner Truth Civil Rights Award, Woman of Excellence Award, American Business Women’s Professionalism Award, Leon Hubbard Community Service Award and the Business Women’s Professionalism Award.
Earlene received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as a Master of Public Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Il.
